Research

Our working group works at the intersection of political geography, political ecology and peace and conflict studies. It addresses issues of climate security in light of the increasing convergence of civilian and military practices in the Arctic context, as well as the socio-ecological impacts of nuclear weapons testing in conjunction with the consequences of climate change in Māòhi Nui (French Polynesia). Additional areas of research include environmental justice in urban contexts and critical energy studies.
