The Pacific Network Workshop, "Nuclear and Climate Justice in Mā’ohi Nui – A Call to Action," highlights the urgent need for international solidarity and action. The phrase "A Call to Action" is especially significant to the workshop's speakers, Tamatoa Tepuhiarii and Mathilde Kraft.

Drawing on their recent visit to Mā’ohi Nui (French Polynesia), they will share insights into how young people are supporting nuclear test veterans and their descendants, many of whom continue to face serious health, social, and psychological consequences resulting from the legacy of nuclear testing. They will also discuss how people outside the region can contribute to ongoing efforts for justice and support.

Those interested in learning more about the long-term impacts of nuclear testing are warmly invited to join an open discussion with Mathilde Kraft and Tamatoa Tepuhiarii from 4:30 p.m.
