Dr. Marcello Natalicchio from the Institute for Geology got the first prize at a Science Slam competition in Brussels presenting the results of his Marie Curie-project BIOCLIMA. On September 13th, five scientists from different fields were invited to present in a surprising fashion their scientific projects funded by the European Commission under the FP7 and the Horizon 2020 programs and Dr. Natalicchio was awarded for the presentation titled: Ancient seas and climate change: what can we learn from molecular fossils? The event was organized to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Conference of European Advisors from the Universities of Northern Germany in Brussels.
