The library is moving!
Where is the library moving to?
The books, journals, series, and maps are moving to the new building—the MIN Forum—at Bundesstraße 56a, across the street from the Geomatikum.
How will this affect library operations?
All new loans and renewals are due on January 5, 2026
If you borrow a new item or renew an existing loan, the loan period will end on January 5, 2026. This applies regardless of when you borrow or renew. After January 5, 2026, no further loans or renewals will be possible.
From January 5 to January 11, 2026, the library will be open for on-site use.
It will no longer be possible to borrow media. Working on site, including the use of media on site, will still be possible.
The library will be closed from January 12, 2026.
When will the library reopen?
In the summer semester of 2026.
