Travel funds for support of young scientists for exchange with Finland.

DAAD project FinNcycle: In the BMBF-funded project-related exchange of persons with Finland funded by the BMBF, the AG Beer was granted travel funds for 2023/24. In the project, laboratory and field studies on the microbial controlled N cycle in subarctic soils will be carried out in cooperation with the University of Eastern Finland in Kupio. The aim is to support young scientists and to strengthen the bi-national cooperation. Students who would like to complete their master thesis in this project are welcome to contact Claudia Fiencke by mail.
