Integrated Climate System Sciences (ICSS) degree program receives award

The master degree program “Integrated Climate System Sciences (ICSS)” has been recognized as one of the five winning projects of the “MINTchallenge plus.” Several staff members from the Institute of Soil Science teach in the M.Sc. ICSS program, including Prof. Beer, Prof. Kutzbach, Dr. Holl, Dr. Knoblauch, and Dr. Fiencke. Christian Beer is the study program director, and Lars Kutzbach is the coordinator of the track “Biogeochemistry of the Climate System”. We are pleased to be able to contribute our questions regarding the significance and complexity of soil processes in the climate system to the education of the next generation of climate scientists.
