On June 25, 2024, an expert discussion took place in the research project "Temporal development of soil ecological parameters on permanent soil monitoring sites (BDF) in Schleswig-Holstein" on the current results with representatives of the State Office for the Environment (LfU) from Schleswig-Holstein, the Institute for Applied Soil Biology (GmbH) from Hamburg and members of the working group Prof. Beer. The project was able to show the first overall ecological developments of the 35-year monitoring program. To mark this year's anniversary, an all-day event will be held on November 6, 2024 in Flintbek by the Schleswig-Holstein Education Centre for Nature, Environment and Rural Areas,
