The Bachelor’s degree *Licenciatura em Meteorologia, Oceanografia e Clima* (MOC) provides an interdisciplinary foundational education in meteorology, oceanography, and climate science. The program focuses on the mathematical and physical description of the atmosphere and oceans, the dynamics of the climate system, the effects of greenhouse gases, and computer-based climate modelling.

The Master’s degree *Mestrado em Ciências do Mar e Atmosfera* (MMASc) deepens students’ knowledge in marine and atmospheric sciences and enables specialization in meteorology, oceanography, and climate. Areas of focus include, among others, tropical and polar weather systems, extreme weather and climate forecasting, as well as marine resources and coastal management.

Bachelor: The teaching program provides fundamental knowledge of the atmosphere and the climate system, in particular the radiation budget, thermodynamics, cloud formation, precipitation, and atmospheric dynamics. At UGR, these topics are covered both in the Grado en Física (e.g., *Física de la Atmósfera*, *Geofísica*) and in the Grado en Ciencias Ambientales (*Meteorología y Climatología*).

Master: The focus is on the physical and dynamical processes of the atmosphere and the climate system, including thermodynamics, radiation, atmospheric circulation, as well as climate patterns, climate variability, and climate change.
