Mahsa Safarkhani

Mahsa Safarkhani is a PhD student with a background in Geophysics. As part of the SPIN project, her research focuses  on understanding the impact of persistent oceanic microseism sources on coda of correlation wavefields through ambient seismic noise interferometry. She also investigates the mechanisms driving oceanic microseisms and their seasonal variations, using advanced techniques in beamforming and seismic  array-derived rotation.
