Application and admission:

Please read the information and note in particular:
- Eligibility for the M.Sc. Geophysics is based on the requirements given in the information for applicants, i.e., ECTS in mathematics, physics, programming, and contents that coincide with the B.Sc. Geophysics/Oceanography at the University of Hamburg. Note that the designation of an applicant's completed B.Sc. degree does not automatically determine eligibility.
- Only those English certificates that are specifically listed in the information for applicants can be accepted. In particular, the completion of a B.Sc. degree in English is not sufficient.
- Applicants who do not submit all required documents will not be admitted.
- Applicants who do not fulfil all admission requirements will not be admitted.
- The application period for "international programmes" of UHH is not valid for the M.Sc. Geophysics.
The application periods for the M.Sc. Geophysics are:
1.6.–15.7. for each winter term,
1.12.–15.1. for each summer term, - German language skills are not required.
