Eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcano

On the occasion of the 100th birthday of the DGG, the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Hamburg introduces itself to the university public as well as teachers and students of secondary schools (from grade 10) through two lectures. The lecture titles are:

- Oceans, Ice and Humans - What Seismology and Machine Learning Tell Us about the Earth.

- Volcanoes - From Fascination to Science

Where: Lecture hall H4 in the GEOMATIKUM (Bundesstrasse 55, 20146 Hamburg)

When: 22 September 2022 at 4:15 p.m.

Duration: Each lecture lasts about 30 minutes, followed by time for questions and discussion.
