Wir wollen's wissen - Talk at Hansa-Gymnasium on 20 Januar 2026

On Tuesday, 20 January 2026, Christian Hübscher from the Institute of Geophysics will swap the lecture hall for a classroom as part of the outreach program “Wir wollen’s wissen” and talk to 12th-grade students at Hansa-Gymnasium in Bergedorf about submarine volcanoes and earthquakes. “Wir wollen’s wissen” is funded within the framework of the German federal and state Excellence Strategy.

The program is supported by scientists from the University of Hamburg, the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY), and the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). More information is available here.
