User account
At this time, a so-called u-Account is required to use most HdE-IT services. We are in the process of transitioning our systems to use B-Accounts (UHH Accounts) and plan to phase out the u-Account in the medium term.
User policy
All accounts are subject to the RRZ Regulations for Use.
Employee and Guest Accounts
The creation and deletion of user accounts is carried out by the Masterusers.
The following forms are currently to be used for this purpose:

Student Accounts
An Excel spreadsheet for a collective application for student accounts by lecturers at CEN is available (This new form does not require any macros. A simple check is carried out via conditional formatting).
Student accounts at CEN are only set up if, in addition to the names of the students, the B account (RRZ) and either the “Stine email address” (@studium.uni-hamburg.de) or the UHH email (@uni-hamburg.de) are known.
Since student accounts often have to be set up in large numbers at the beginning of the semester, this procedure is more convenient than the standard application form.
Once all the data has been entered, please send the file to the Helpdesk by email.
Note: If the students' registered email address is no longer accessible, we assume that the student has been dematriculated, as the corresponding account and email address will then be deleted at the RRZ. In this case, CEN-IT will also initiate the deletion of the student account.
